Presenting the Four New Members of the CRG Advisory Council

Voting in the 2019-2021 CRG Advisory Council elections has now closed. CRG members cast their ballots to select four of the six candidates who will join the group of elected volunteers who give their time to the CRG and who work with SCA staff to help deliver events and services to members of the coffee roasting community.

It is our pleasure to welcome the four new members of the CRG Advisory Council:

  • Erika Chagoya León

  • Kaya Carretta Herlofsen

  • Stephen Houston

  • O.M. Miles (who currently serves on the Advisory Council and has been reelected)

Thank You

We want to send a special thank you to Bjørnar Hafslund and Daniel Francisco Mendoza for accepting their nominations and participating in this election. Thank you to the dozens of CRG members who put forward a nomination and took part in the interview process.

We also send a warm thank you to the three dedicated members of the Advisory Council whose terms end on January 31, 2020. These coffee professionals have provided invaluable leadership to the CRG and have dedicated countless volunteer hours to make the work of the CRG a success. Thank you, Emilio Lopez, Joanna Alm, and Filip Åkerblom!

Finally, we want to say thanks to all CRG members for participating in this election, from nominations to voting. You make the CRG what it is and it is an honor to serve you and our entire global community.
