Our commitment to Roasters Guild Retreat attendees

Our commitment to Roasters Guild Retreat attendees

Today is Day 3 of our Roasters Guild Retreat, currently taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. The event brings the roasting community together to learn, connect and have fun. In order for that to happen, we insist on each event being an inclusive and safe space where everyone feels welcome.

All attendees have agreed to abide by a code of conduct, which can be found here: http://www.roastersguild.org/code-of-conduct. SCA maintains a zero tolerance policy for harassment, violent behavior, and sexually offensive behavior or actions.

It is very important to us that, if you experience any form of harassment, you know that you can and should report it immediately. If you experience or witness harassment, threatening behavior, or other inappropriate conduct, you are strongly encouraged to promptly find the nearest SCA staff member for assistance. Please provide whatever details you can, such as names or other descriptive information.

Your safety and comfort while at Retreat is important to us. From 10am - 12pm this morning, Conference Room 4 will be open to anyone who wishes to speak with SCA staff or Roasters Guild leadership. Our staff office in Islands 3 is also open for you throughout the duration of the event.

If you prefer to contact us via email, please send a message to communications@sca.coffee. If at any time you feel that your personal safety or the safety of others is in jeopardy, please contact 911.

Thank you for attending Roasters Guild Retreat. You are a valued member of our community and we will continue to work hard to ensure that you feel included and safe at our events.
